Wheel thrown speckled stoneware footed bowl. This piece was thrown on the pottery wheel in two separate parts, altered and joined before adding three looped handles on each side. Glazed in varying cyanic blues with sandy speckles from the clay’s iron. The thickness and vibrancy of the glaze varies over the piece like a wave washing over sand. Colorful dragonfly waterslide decals individually applied and fired on. Display it on its own, with fresh fruit, freshly cut flowers, or in a grouping with other Waves of Stone jars and vases.
Food safe; hand wash.
